The 2024 Dressage Stars

CDI5* rider Alizée Froment had a very successful international career but now focuses on performance and teaching, her bridleless and liberty work is both technically correct, and sublimely beautiful. Alizée favours the Lusitano, the horse of Portugal. The work is founded on heart, body and soul of horse and human communicating as one. Alizées skill, storytelling and finesse is exceptional. Alizée will also run a masterclass on the Thursday afternoon in the beautiful mediterranean styled indoor arena.

Horses from the Royal Stables of Córdoba are beautifully and classically trained at the birthplace of the purebred Spanish horse, founded in 1570. In heavenly costumes they will show epic performance pieces in a range of styles - Alta Escuela (high school), Doma Vaquera (traditional field work style), as well as incredible work on the ground long lining and the airs above the ground. Young Spanish rider Julia Tocino Rodriguez will mesmerise in her Amazona (sidesaddle) performance - the movements of a Grand Prix test but in a huge baroque outfit - absolutely outstanding! With incredible skill, finesses and technique, the polished performances of Córdoba Ecuestre are something so rare to see.

Silke Vallentin is wheelchair bound, but this has not stopped her from achieving amazing results with horses. The extraordinary bond with Spanish horse Viento is deeply profound, with a message of hope, beleif and resilience.
